Technology advisory · Greenville–Spartanburg
Clear direction.
Deliberate progress.
Technology should support where your business is going — not merely where it has been. Veralta gives growing companies senior technology leadership: what to build, what to buy, and what to leave behind.

Who you're working with
Phillip R. Kennedy
Founder and principal advisor

Every Veralta engagement is led by one senior advisor from the first conversation to the handover. You will not be sold by one person and delivered by another, and you will not be handed to a junior team once the contract is signed.
That is a deliberate constraint on how much work we take at once. It is also the reason we can say no to engagements that are not a fit.

How an engagement works
Three steps, and a clear way out of each
A conversation
Thirty minutes. You describe where technology is slowing the business down. We tell you plainly whether this is something we can help with, and what it would take. No charge, no deck.
An assessment
Most engagements start here: a short, bounded review of the systems, spend, and decisions in question. It ends in a written recommendation you can act on — or take to someone else.
The work
If it makes sense to continue, we agree the scope and the cadence. You get one senior advisor, decisions in writing, and a clear point where our involvement ends.
The Upstate
Built for the Southeast. Based in the Upstate.
Veralta works where its clients work: manufacturers, distributors, logistics operators, and growing services firms across the Greenville–Spartanburg corridor. In person, at your plant or your boardroom.
Local matters here for an unglamorous reason. The problems worth solving are usually visible on the floor, in the warehouse, or in a room with the people doing the work — and they are rarely visible on a video call.
- In personOn site in the Upstate. Some of this work does not go well over video.
- One senior advisorNo leverage model, no junior bench, no handover to someone you have not met.
- IndependentWe sell no software and take no referral fees. The recommendation is only ever about fit.
- Decisions in writingEvery engagement ends in something written down, costed, and sequenced.
Common questions
Before you get in touch
What size company do you work with?
Growing companies that have outgrown ad-hoc technology decisions but are not yet carrying a full-time technology executive. That describes very different headcounts in different industries, so the first conversation is free and we will tell you honestly if you are not a fit.
Do you only work in the Upstate?
We are based in the Greenville–Spartanburg corridor and that is where we work in person. We take engagements across the Southeast and further where the work suits a remote cadence.
Do you resell software or take referral fees?
No. We sell no software and accept no vendor referral fees. It is the reason our recommendation on a vendor is worth anything.
How do engagements usually start?
With a short, bounded assessment. It gives you a written recommendation and gives both of us a low-risk way to find out whether we work well together before anyone commits to more.
Can you work alongside our existing IT provider?
Regularly. A managed service provider keeps your systems running; that is a different job from deciding what to build, what to buy, and what to retire. We work with good providers and will tell you when yours is one.
What happens if you think we do not need you?
We say so. Talking a company out of an engagement it does not need is a better use of a first conversation than selling one that will not hold.
Next step
Start the conversation
Tell us where technology is slowing the business down. The first conversation costs nothing and ends with a straight answer about whether we can help.
